Escape Today's Hustle By Going Back In Time

Mid Century Silver Lake is made up of two beautifully restored duplexes, each with their own distinct personality and feel. One property is a 1956 architectural front to back duplex featuring vaulted ceilings with exposed beams just a few strides from Trader Joes, Gelson’s, and all that's happening on Hyperion. The second property is a 1960’s side-by-side townhouse style duplex with a ton of period charm situated in the coveted Silver Lake hills, just a short distance to Whole Foods, the reservoir, the 2, 5, and 134 freeways, and minutes to downtown. Both properties have been immaculately updated with modern amenities without compromising their original character.

The Eastside's Most Eclectic Neighborhood

Often labeled the trendiest neighborhood in East Los Angeles, thanks to its boutique shops, collection of creative residents, and ever-evolving dining scene, Silver Lake is also one of the most family-friendly (and walkable) communities in Los Angeles. Though the footprint of Silver Lake is not that large, it's also chock full of exemplary residential architecture. Schindler, Neutra, and Lautner are just a few of the well-known names that have left their signature design touches on the community. Whether you want to wander around Sunset Junction, explore the scenic hills, or do a lap with your pooch around the reservoir, Silver Lake is loaded with plenty of charm, things to do, and most importantly, is an inviting community to all.

Shop Local

Leave Your Car At Home

When most think of Silver Lake they think of all the boutiques and yummy eats surrounding Sunset Junction, but more recently the business districts of Silver Lake Boulevard, Hyperion Avenue, as well as the neighboring communities of Frogtown and Atwater Village have filled in with their own appealing mix of spas, coffee shops, watering holes, restaurants, farmer’s markets, and grocery stores. The most notable addition being Whole Foods located at Fletcher and Glendale.

Convenient Commuting

It's All About Access

Getting into and out of Silver Lake is a breeze. It's enclosed by the 5 freeway on it’s northern border, the 101 on its southern border, and the 2 freeway along half of its eastern border.  The two nearest Metro stations are Red Line at Vermont & Sunset and the Blue Line at Vermont and Santa Monica. It's also just minutes to Hollywood, Burbank, Atwater Village, Frogtown, Glendale, Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Downtown and even Pasadena.

The Reservoir

Silver lake's playground

Stretching 2.2 miles around, the Silver Lake reservoir is where you’ll get some cardio and clear your head along its pleasant walking path. The Silver Lake Meadow, modeled after the Sheep Meadow in NYC’s Central Park, is a three-acre park on the east side of the reservoir that’s a great place to relax or do a drop in yoga class. Also surrounding the reservoir is a Rec Center,  play structure, and a 1.25 acre off-leash dog park. If two wheels is your thing, hit up Griffith Park or the recently renovated LA River bike path for a spin.

Family-Friendly

Get schooled

Silver Lake is one of the more kid-friendly pockets in Los Angeles with many convenient pre-school options as well as quality public schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Tracy Street property falls in the zoning for the highly-rated Franklin Elementary School. For a complete listing of public school options for each property, please click HERE.
